Innisfil's Official Plan Review

Innisfil's Official Plan is up for review. What is an Official Plan? It’s blueprint for how our community will grow and use land, making sure we have the homes, infrastructure, and services we need. It’s a reflection of our community’s priorities for the future, and your input is key. Join us to learn about the project and help shape the vision and goals that will guide us forward.

Community Planning Permit System

Our transition to a town-wide Community Planning Permit System (CPPS) has moved to the next stage. We're now focusing on CPPS by-law policies to guide development in Alcona and along our shoreline. A CPPS is a land use planning tool that combines zoning by-law amendments, minor variances, and site plans into a single application and approval process. Our goal is to better meet community needs, and we need your feedback.

The open house will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Community Rooms at Innisfil Town Hall. Just drop in to participate!
